College of Visual 和 Performing Arts
Home to the visual 和 performing arts at Syracuse University, VPA supports the creative process 和 professional development of its students. VPA is divided into seven areas: the School of Art; the Department of Communication 和 Rhetorical Studies; the School of Design; the Department of Drama; the Rose, 朱尔斯R. 和 Stanford S. Setnor School of 音乐; the Department of Film 和 Media Arts; 和 the Department of Creative Arts Therapy.

Aural Skills 和 Analysis
- Produce 和 recognize music at the appropriate level
Ensemble Performance
- Demonstrate artistry 和 technical skills in an ensemble setting
- Demonstrate collaborative competency 和 knowledge of the ensemble’s repertoire
History 和 Repertoire
- Describe music history 和 identify repertoire through the present time, including the study 和 experience of musical languages 和 cultures
